Objectives
  • Impartation of theoretical background concerning the effects of new media on organizations: Current status of research on computer mediated communication, labour relations (telework and e-work, telecooperation and virtual teams), personnel development (e-learning and blended learning, e-trainings and e-documentations), and personnel selection (e-recruitment, e-assessment and recruitainment).
  • The students obtain practical experience by working together as virtual teams in order to prepare their presentations in class

  • New forms of working relations: telework and e-work, computer based surveillance in the workplace, cyberslacking, telecooperation and virtual collaboration
