Objectives The course aims to provide an introduction to key topics in the field of macroeconomics.

Macroeconomic variables
Producing income
Managing financial wealth
Interdependence of goods and financial markets
Foreign economic relations and domestic income
Unemployment and real wage formation
The emergence of inflation
The development of growth, unemployment and inflation rate
Criteria for evaluation Two written tests (multiple choice), one of which is optional (the better result counts)
Bonus points for well-formulated, perceptive oral contributions in class
Methods The lecture is based on a textbook and complemented by some additional contents.
