Detailed information
Original study plan Master's programme Mechatronics 2012W
Objectives Efficient implementation and verification of selected signal processing algorithms; the designs are carried out on modern, digital signal processors with multiple parallel processing units.
Subject - Real-time operating system DSP-Bios - Blockprocessing environments for audio signals: Overlap-Add and Overlap-Save methods
- Different algorithms frequently applied to communication systems: FIR and IIR filters, FFT, Goertzel algorithm, signal generators
- Signalprocessing for a Doppler radar by means of a chirp scaling algorithm
Criteria for evaluation Functionality of the individual tasks and ongoing collaboration
Methods Implementation of the algorithms in the programming language C and real-time verification on DSP development kits
Language German, if desired English
