The lecturers will give an introduction by lectures on the two main topics:
- Products and markets: Consumer benefit and satisfaction, marketing, exchange processes, buying behavior, strategic product planning, product life-cycle - Design: Methods for solution finding, methods for solution evaluation
The students will exercise this in two seminar projects: 1. Seminar project: Elaboration of the marketing relevant aspects of certain products (individual project) 2. Seminar project: A group of students elaborates and presents a conceptual design of a given product function in competition to other groups

Seminar projects reports and presentations.
