Objectives |
The students become aquainted with the meaning and relevance of gender and diversity and understand how this is related to their research projects in science and engineering.

Subject |
The expertise in gender and diversity becomes more and more important in scientific research and the development of new technologies. Questions discussed: How to develop a pluralistic understanding of gender in nature and culture? How to understand the historical transformation of gender stereotypes and norms in scholarsip? How to include gender and diversity innovatively in the development of science and technology?

Criteria for evaluation |
Presence and participation as well as written essay.

Methods |
Readings, presentations and discussion. Please send a 1-page abstract of your dissertation topic and prepare a 3 minute presentation for the first meeting.
