Objectives Students develop

- basic knowledge about disabilities, their implications and requirements for software systems

- knowledge about Assistive Technologies (AT)

- practical skills in development and design of Assistive Technologies for selected groups of people with disabilities

Subject - Potential and importance of ICT/AT for people with disabilities and the ageing population

- Disabilities and their impact on usage of software systems; alternative skills of people with disabilities

- Overview to Assistive Technologies (AT), trends and developments

- Practical examples of development of AT

- Practical development of AT

- user centred design and contacts to users / user involvement
