Objectives |
Introduction to the theory of discrete-time dynamical systems, basic analysis and design methods for the class of linear, timeinvariant sampled data systems in the time and frequency domain. Deepened understanding of general, abstract structures of dynamical systems by means of linear algebra.
|
Subject |
- Sampled data systems, digital controllers, difference equations
- Systems of (linear time-invariant) difference equations, system analysis (stability of the equilibrium, reachability, observability)
- Design of state feedback and state observers for sampled data systems
- Seperation theorem and duality, fixed set-point control of discrete systems
- q-transform and frequency response of discrete systems, numerical and graphical stability criteria
- Loop shaping methods for sampled data systems
- Algebraic controller design
