Objectives Imparting basic network-concepts on the basis of the ISO-7 layer model, TCP/IP and Ethernet. Getting to know the important tasks in distributed systems.
Subject ISO/OSI-7-layer model, data link layer incl. Ethernet and switching, network layer (Routing, IP), TCP, application layer protocols, synchronization, election, RPCs, ...
