The aim is to provide additional competences and knowledge for students with a polymer science and technology background in the field of economics beyond those lectures in the modules for "Management Basics" and "Management Advanced" in the master program "Management in Polymer Technologies (MPT)".

In the sub-group "Economics" specific aspects of economics of relevance for engineers are covered (e. g., introduction to macro-economics, markets and economic decision making, financial markets, managerial economics, economic growth and politics, empirical economic research).
