Objectives
(*)During the internship student develops and applies her/his knowledge gained during studies in working life. Student combines study practice with working life and university policy.
Subject
(*)Student takes his/her practical training in the work organization of his/her choice. The organization appoints a tutor for the student. The student together with the tutor prepares a practice plan, in which they agree on tasks and the student’s personal objectives set for the training. Before the practical training, student participates in pre-sessions organized by the department. After the practical training the student takes part in a feedback session, in which the training report of the student will be discussed. In the report the student evaluates his/her success in achieving the set objectives and assesses the implementation of the social political function of the organization with aid of source books. The training report must fulfill the criteria of scientific writing.
Criteria for evaluation
(*)Supplementary reading material, practical training at the best of 3 months or worth 10 ECTS, report on the training. Participation of the students in the pre- and feedback-sessions organized for internship students, and preparation of an analysis paper of the practicum (5 pages).
