The subject offers an essential course on in vitro cultivation of cell lines as well advanced courses on ultrastructural study of the cell (transmission and scanning electron microscopy), fluorescence spectroscopy in cellular systems, and analytical techniques in X-ray crystallography of biologically important polymers (proteins; nucleic acids).

Insgesamt 22 ECTS aus zwei der drei Wahlfächern müssen absolviert werden, aus jedem aber jeweils mind. 10 ECTS.
