Objectives
Advanced course for master and doctoral students who whish to specialize in the fields of Surface Science and/or Nanoscience.
Subject
The course adresses the following scientific topics:
Brief introduction to Surface Science and Nanoanalytics
Fabrication and atomic manipulation of Nanostructures on surfaces
Growth, self-organisation and self-assembly
Physical and chemical properties of nanostructures on surfaces: mechanical, electronic, optical, chemical and magnetic properties.
Criteria for evaluation
oral examination, dates by arrangement.
