- develop solution strategies for physical problems in the field of atomic and nuclear physics and condensed matter. (K3)
- describe photons in the particle (energy quantum) and wave image (frequency, wavelength). (K2)

- Electromagnetic radiation (interference, coherence)
- Quantum mechanics
- Atomic and nuclear physics
- Fundamentals of solid-state physics (crystallography)
