- Students can present the results of historical research clearly and structured in the form of oral presentations and written papers. (k3)

- Students acquire fundamental knowledge of key events and epochs in Austrian history, from the Middle Ages through the Early Modern Period, Enlightened Absolutism, the Habsburg Monarchy, World War I and World War II, the First and Second Republic of Austria, up to Austria’s accession to the EU.
- Students are familiar with the essential political structures and societal changes in Austria from the Middle Ages to the present.
