(*)Students are able to plan and implement a research project at doctoral level independently, taking into account the state of scientific research as far as possible, in an appropriate and methodologically sound manner and thus make an independent contribution to the further development of the state of research beyond the respective subject.
Fertigkeiten Kenntnisse
(*)• Students are able to structure and manage their dissertation topic as a long-term project (k3). This includes time management, resource planning, and the efficient organization of research steps.

• Students are able to review the current state of research and, based on this, identify research gaps and innovative research topics (k4, k5, k6).

• Students are capable of integrating various academic perspectives and disciplines into their research work and can identify relevant interfaces between social and economic sciences and/or between social and cultural studies (k4).

• Students are able to design complex research frameworks that meet the requirements of their specific research project (k6). They have an overview of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods (k2), master the methodology appropriate for their project, and can apply it to their research question (k3).

• Students can appropriately assess the scope and limitations of the research results they achieve (k5).

• Students are able to work effectively in research groups and interdisciplinary teams and are capable of constructively commenting on the research results of others (k4, k5).

• Students are able to present their research results clearly and understandably both within the academic community and to a broader audience (k3). This includes both written and oral presentations.
