  • Students are able to use selected social science theories to analyze social transformation processes at different levels of inquiry.
  • Students are able to apply selected social science concepts to analyze and critically engage with current phenomena in key areas of the digital transformation.
Skills Knowledge
• The ability to explain the major positions concerning the role of science in society by a new worldview • Students know major sociological theories of social transformation and their recent extensions to the digital transformation. • Students are familiar with major drivers of social transformation in modern societies. • Students are familiar with some of the main mechanisms underlying the digital transformation. • Students gain insights into key examples of major social and digital transformations and are familiar with selected empirical studies.
