Learning Outcomes
Competences
Students will be able to choose theoretical approaches and integrate them into their research by tailoring the design to specific research questions and applying qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods methods.
Skills
Knowledge
Students can identify, analyze, and compare research theories and data collection methods appropriate to their research approaches and research designs (k5).
Students are able to interpret research theoretical and conceptual frameworks in relation to their research objectives (k2)
Students can apply theoretical and conceptual frameworks to determine qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and analysis to the specifically designed research questions (k3) and write and present a report of findings with implications based on the adopted theoretical framework (k6).
Students can analyze (k4) and evaluate (k5) the appropriateness of theoretical frameworks for the data collection and analysis process in their research and write a report on the limitation and mitigation of the research methodology and results based on the chosen theoretical framework (k6).
Students can write a report of findings for the chosen question and discuss the findings based on the chosen theoretical framework and derive the implications for educational practice (k6).
