Competences
  • Students acquire the competence to understand the fundamental principles of social law, assess social insurance claims, and apply the legal prerequisites and entitlements in the areas of contribution law and health insurance law.
Skills Knowledge
  • Identify social law entitlements and apply them in practice-oriented cases (k4).
  • Assess the responsibilities and entitlements of different social insurance institutions (k5).
  • Analyse and apply benefits and eligibility criteria within the health insurance system (k4).
  • Overview of social law, general aspects of social insurance law, and the fundamentals of contribution law.
  • Basic principles of health insurance benefits law and the contractual partner system of social insurance.
Criteria for evaluation (*)Einstündige Klausur am Ende der LVA anhand von theoretischen Fragen. Nachklausur zu Beginn des nächsten Semesters.
Methods (*)Vortrag unter Einbindung von praktischen Beispielen, wobei eine aktive Mitarbeit durch ergänzende Fragen bzw. Verständnisfragen sehr erwünscht ist.

Gesetzestext Sozialrecht (Verlag Österreich oder Verlag Linde Band I)

Further information (*)Die Lehrveranstaltungen Sozialrecht I und Sozialrecht II sind nicht in dem Sinne aufbauend, dass für den Besuch von Sozialrecht II der vorherige Besuch von Sozialrecht I zwingend nötig ist.
