  • LO2: Students can justifiably select suitable approaches from the areas of personnel management and change management for case-related work in companies and organizations and critically examine their advantages and disadvantages.
  • LO3: Students are able to select, apply and critically evaluate concepts from the fields of personnel management and change management.
  • LO4: Students are able to use methods of self, personnel, team and company management and development and critically evaluate their requirements, advantages and disadvantages in practical application.

  • LO5: Students know the central principles of personnel management and change management.
  • LO6: Students understand the specifics of different approaches, concepts, methods, their possible applications and challenges in connection with leadership and change in and of organizations.
Criteria for evaluation A total of 100 points can be achieved in this course.

  • Individual assignments (individual work) on specific content and theory-practice transfer (max. 25%)
  • Application-oriented written exam (individual work) to work on case-specific issues based on the underlying content of the course (max. 75%)

It is possible to repeat the written exam as part of a follow-up exam (individual work).

Minimum requirement: > 50 % of the total points

Feedback: Constructive feedback on the case studies discussed during the course and in writing on each individual examination performance.

  • LO2 to LO4: Individual assignments
  • LO1 to LO6: Application-oriented written exam (post-exam)
Methods Various methods are used in the interactive teaching format to achieve the teaching and learning objectives:

  • Teaching-centered information input, supported by slides and literature
  • Self-directed learning with the help of specified literature and materials
  • Impulses from external experts on selected topics
  • Application of methods and models using real case studies in groups
  • Plenary discussions and interactive group exercises
