Students are familiar with the relevant theoretical and empirical literature and are able to assess the strengths and limitations of the existing empirical evidence. They can apply theoretical and empirical methods to independently examine current issues and policies in the field of education, migration and labor markets.
Course Goals
This seminar covers selected topics in the area of education, migration, and labor markets. The topics may differ between the semesters (depending on the instructor). They usually comprise a content-related and/or methodological input, as well as the application to specific aspects of the policy field "Education, Migration, and Labor Markets". The application may include replication of existing results as well as conducting original research.
