(*)Students will develop the capability to critically evaluate firm strategies and their compliance with competition laws, as well as assess the impact of regulation on market behavior.
Course Goals
This course aims to equip students with the background and methods needed to analyze firm competitive strategies from both a competition policy and regulatory perspective. Students will become familiar with the legal framework of competition law in the US and the EU. Current cases in competition policy will be discussed to provide practical insights. The course also provides the theoretical fundamentals necessary to analyze business strategies from an economics perspective.
