  • Students can recognise, analyse, and critically evaluate social heterogeneity by applying theoretical concepts.
  • They are able to investigate the structure, mechanisms, and consequences of discrimination, inequality, exclusion, and stigmatisation using scientific methods.
  • They can assess the political and social consequences of discrimination and develop alternative solutions.
Skills Knowledge
  • Identify patterns of discrimination (k1).
  • Research, interpret, and present instances of discrimination based on gender and diversity dimensions (k2).
  • Differentiate and systematise structures of privilege, inequality, and/or stigmatisation using theoretical approaches (k4).
  • Critically examine hegemonic power relations and structures of domination (k5).
  • Assess political and social implications using concrete examples (k5).
  • Develop political strategies to counter patterns of discrimination (k6).
  • Advanced knowledge in gender and diversity studies.
  • Independent application of scientific methods.
  • Analysis of social heterogeneity and intersectionality along differentiation categories such as gender, disability, and other diversity dimensions, as well as an evaluation of their social and economic impacts.
  • Explanation of structures and processes that produce discrimination.
