Further information During your MGB journey, you will experience three different business environments, and learn what similarities cross all three, as well as the differences in each. By the end of this course, you will have developed a deeper understanding about how to do business effectively in Canada and the United States. Specifically, you will learn about historical, demographic and geographical influences on North American business practices, examine the roles of government, law, politics and industry, and make forecasts about the future of business in North America. By the end of this course, you will have developed a foundation for business excellence within the North American context.
By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Identify aspects of the business environment that are distinct to North America.
  • Demonstrate professional behaviors that will help you succeed as a North American business person.
  • Critically examine assumptions about the North American business environment.
  • Analyze a North American business, to unearth underlying values, norms and assumptions
