Upon successful completion of this course students will:

  • LO1 recognize the significance of cultural diversity in global contexts, identifying how different cultural backgrounds impact group behavior and leadership styles in basic terms.
  • LO2 recall and explain the main components of situational leadership, recognizing how these principles can be adapted to different cultural contexts in a simplified manner.
  • LO3 reflect on their own experiences in culturally diverse environments, identifying common challenges they encountered and recognizing how these might affect group dynamics and leadership.
  • LO4 describe basic strategies for managing conflicts in intercultural settings, understanding how cultural differences influence conflict and resolution approaches.
  • LO5 identify and describe how gender issues and work-family balance are perceived and managed differently in various cultures, gaining awareness of the diversity in these experiences globally.
