Course Goals

This course provides an in-depth exploration of microeconometric techniques for analyzing individual-level data in economics. It is designed to equip students with empirical tools to analyze and interpret data that supports decision-making across various sectors, including labor economics, health economics, and industrial organization. Emphasis will be placed on panel data analysis, instrumental variables, discrete choice models, and treatment effect estimation, with practical applications in a data-driven business and economic environment.
