| Students are able to independently plan and conduct small-scale social science research projects, as well as select methodologically sound research approaches. They possess the competence to critically and reflectively assess the relevance, opportunities, and limitations of digital research methods compared to traditional approaches in social science research, and can identify suitable methods for problem-solving in digital research fields. Additionally, they are equipped to handle digital data in a critical and ethically informed manner, taking into account data protection, copyright issues, and research ethics guidelines. The focus is on research planning and data collection.
