+ Students are familiar with theories and models of comparative cultural research and intercultural competence.

+ They recognize cultural differences, can take different perspectives into account and deal with them constructively and flexibly.

+ They know methods and techniques of prevention and intervention in order to communicate and interact effectively in intercultural contexts.

Skills Knowledge
Students are able to,

- name selected concepts, theories and models of intercultural/comparative cultural research and research on intercultural competence (k1)

- explain their significance for selected private and professional contexts (k2)

- describe methods and techniques for analyzing and intervening in intercultural contexts (k1)

- analyze case studies using selected theoretical and methodological concepts (k3)

- test concepts in selected situations, analyze them self-reflectively and derive their relevance for their own actions (k4, k5)

- Central terms, theoretical concepts and models of intercultural and comparative cultural research
