Students can use the SAS statistical software to independently carry out statistical data analyses, import and manage data, and create prediction models.

  • Ability to enter, import and transform data in SAS (k3)
  • Conducting univariate and multivariate descriptive analyses with SAS (k3, k4)
  • Performing simple inferential statistical procedures such as t-tests or chi-square tests in SAS (k3, k4)

  • Creating decision trees, machine learning models such as random forest and gradient boosting, as well as scoring these models on new data with SAS (k3, k4, k5)
