+ Sie verstehen die Relevanz von Theoriearbeit in der Soziologie und soziologischen Gesellschaftstheorien für die Analyse von gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen der Gegenwart.

+ Sie können soziologische Theorien auf die Analyse von Themen der Gegenwartssoziologie anwenden und ihren analytischen Gehalt bewerten.

Skills Knowledge
(*)+ eigenständige Lektüre, Reflexion und Diskussion ausgewählter soziologischer Analysen aktueller Themen der Gegenwartssoziologie (k4)

+ Anwendung von (aktualisierten) Konzepten und Ansätzen soziologischer Theorie auf Themen der Gegenwartssoziologie (k3)

+ Rekonstruktion und Diskussion verschiedener Konzepte und Ansätze soziologischer Theorien und ihrer Bedeutung für die Analyse aktueller Themen der Gegenwartssoziologie (k6)

+ kritische Diskussion und Reflexion verschiedener Analysen und Debatten zu Themen der Gegenwartssoziologie (k4, k5)

BITTE BEARBEITEN The focus of the seminar will be on topics and problems which are of great importance in current discussions in the Social Sciences (in particular in Sociology)as well as in actual social conflicts and debates. In particular questions of social dynamics and their future shaping through social actors are moved to the centreground.

  • exposè for a seminar paper for which a feedback will be given
