Detailed information |
Original study plan |
Master's programme Electronics and Information Technology 2025W |
Learning Outcomes |
Competences |
Students are able to characterize and commission power electronic components, rectifiers, and inverters and make correct statements about their operating behavior.
|
|
Skills |
Knowledge |
Students are able to,
- characterize the real behavior of power MOSFETs, DC-DC converter, and controlled and uncontrolled rectifiers using measurement technology and interpret the operating behavior (k2/3/4/5)
- create circuit diagrams and PCB production documents and commission the resulting PCB (k3, k6)
- determine the measurement deviations and evaluate the accuracy of the measurements (k3/4)
- document and interpret measurements (k5)
|
- the application and calibration of measuring devices, including the identification of measurement deviations and error sources,
- the application and functionality of power electronic components such as thyristors, MOSFETs and diodes
- Operating behavior of DC-DC converters and rectifiers/inverters
- Preparation of protocols according to scientific standards.
|
|
Criteria for evaluation |
Preparation, collaboration, written documentation in the form of laboratory protocols
|
Methods |
Independent and non-independent practical work on experimental set-ups, independent preparation tasks
