- Permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM), control and power electronics converters for PMSM drives
- Induction machines (IM), start-up and scalar control (U/f-control, Volts/Hz-control) of IM drives
- Brushless DC motor (BLDC), stepper motors and magnetic gears
- Measurements of current, position, and speed for the control of electric drives
