Competences
Students are able to independently analyse complex metrological issues and sensor systems, research relevant research literature, critically evaluate it, develop alternative solutions, present the findings in a scientific report and defend them in a presentation.
Skills Knowledge
Students are able to:

  • familiarise themselves independently with a scientific topic in measurement technology (k4, k5),
  • carry out independent literature research in the field of measurement technology (k4, k5),
  • critically evaluate existing approaches in the field of the seminar topic and formulate alternative solutions if deemed necessary (k5, k6),
  • compose a seminar report adhering to scientific standards (k6),
  • deliver a presentation and defend it during a discussion (k6),
  • engage in a critical discussion of the presentations by other participants and provide constructive feedback (k3, k5).
The knowledge for the given seminar topic must be acquired through independent research into relevant literature and through own scientific thinking.
