Students are acquainted with the basic physical operation modes associated with different sensor principles for the detection of biomolecules. Students gain an understanding of the functionality and application of optical sensors in medicine and are able to select the sensor principles presented in an application-oriented manner and to deepen their specialist knowledge in further literature.
