Learning Outcomes |
Competences |
In this course, the content of the associated lecture is deepened and expanded. Students know and understand the basics of electrical measurement technology and sensor technology and can apply these to calculation tasks.
|
|
Skills |
Knowledge |
Students are able to
- apply statistical methods of error calculation to correctly interpret measurements and quantify uncertainty (k4, k5),
- analyze and evaluate the frequency and time behavior of various electrical circuits (k5),
- distinguish between systematic and random measurement deviations and apply suitable methods for dealing with them (k4, k5),
- design and calculate bridge circuits in balancing and deflection mode for direct and alternating current (k5),
- understand inductive and capacitive sensors and formulate them mathematically (k4),
- calculate measuring amplifier circuits and adapt them to the requirements of specific measuring tasks (k4),
- Explain the functionality and application of digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters and understand the basic mathematical relationships (k4),
- quantify sources of error in digital measurement technology (k4).
|
Students acquire sound knowledge in the following areas:
- statistical principles of error calculation according to GUM and their application
- the frequency and time behavior of amplifier circuits
- the functionality and calculation of bridge circuits for measuring resistances, impedances and other electrical quantities,
- functional principles and calculation of inductive and capacitive sensors,
- Design and calculation of measuring amplifier circuits such as instrumentation amplifiers, integrators, etc. and their application for signal amplification,
- Calculation of different types of digital-to-analog converters (DAC) and analog-to-digital converters (ADC).
