Competences
Students are able to present the status of their dissertation project independently, concisely and compactly, both in writing and orally, taking into account the state of international scientific research, and in particular to emphasize their own scientific contribution. In addition, they are able to defend their work argumentatively.
Skills Knowledge
  • Students are able to develop complex research designs that meet the requirements of their specific research project (k6). They have a general overview of the relevant research methods (k2), master the methodology appropriate to their project and can apply it to their research question (k3).
  • Students are able to present and defend their research achievements briefly and concisely, both orally and in writing. (k4, k5).
  • Students are able to incorporate different scientific perspectives and disciplines into their research work and recognize relevant interfaces between their own and neighboring fields (k4).
  • Students are able to adequately assess the scope and limits of their research results (k5).
