(*)Students are able to understand, analyze, and assess personal recognition methods using physiological and behavioral traits and have expertise about multibiometric systems and measures to assure the security of biometric recognition systems.

  • Recognize persons using hand features (finger, hand geometry, palmprints)
  • Recognize persons using face features (including the human eye)
  • Identifiy persons using DNA
  • Recognize persons using behavioral features (gait, signature, speech, keyboard dynamics)
  • Use the advantages and variants of multibiometric recognition systems
  • Know the attacks possible on biometric recognition systems and realize corresponding defense measures
