Students are able to analyze the essential tasks and objectives of innovation management methods and marketing using selected examples from industry and apply them to selected issues.

Specifically, they can

  • understand the objectives of innovation management and marketing in an industrial context and apply them to new tasks (k2, k3).
  • recognize and correctly apply the presented methods and concepts on research and development projects (k2, k3).
  • Understand legal aspects such as ownership, rights of use or rights of property (k2, k3)
  • Strategic innovation management in business (PLM product life cycle management, innovation portfolios and road maps)
  • Definitions of R&D (research & development), FRASCATI manual
  • Operational R&D / quality management in R&D (key performance indicators in innovation)
  • Ownership and usage rights, property rights

  • Marketing in the capital goods industry / large-scale plant construction (lot size 1, business plan, key account management)
