  • Students have an overview of medical devices in the areas covered in the course. They know the medical background in anatomy, physiology and pathology as well as the physical and technical principles of the function of the medical devices covered.
  • Based on the overview and detailed knowledge, students will be able to understand the functions of medical devices and evaluate and assess the applications, risks and limitations of medical devices.
  • Students have an overview of approaches and methods in medical technology.
