Learning Outcomes
Competences
Students will be able to analyze system and control theory properties of linear systems in the time and frequency domain using advanced mathematical methods, perform parameter identification and design controllers and observers on this basis.
Skills Knowledge
Specifically, they can

  • Describe, analyze and apply identification methods (k3-k5)
  • Understand the basics of optimal state controllers and optimal state observers and apply designs to specific systems (k2, k3, k6)
  • Explain and design output controllers (k2, k3)
  • Explain and practically implement the Smith predictor (k2, k3)
  • Parametric and Non-parametric System Identification
  • Optimal State Controller (LQR)
