Ability to apply data acquisition and control technologies and to carry out experiments and analyse experimental data for test benches in the hydraulics laboratory as well as for mobile fluid power machinery
Skills Knowledge
  • application of pressure, flow rate and position sensorics to fluid power drives (k3 - k5)
  • dimensioning and implementation of pressure/force and position controls (k3 - k6)
  • execution of experiment and measurement data analysis for quasi-statical characteristics measurements of hydraulic resistances (k3 - k5)
  • execution of experiment and measurement data analysis for simple dynamics measurements, e.g. valve dynamics transfer functions (k3 - k5)
  • pressure measurement technology and calibration of pressure sensors
  • volumetric flow rate and temperature sensorics
  • piston posistion transducers for hydraulic cylinders
  • servo hydraulic position control
  • control of hydraulic drives with constant displacment pump and variable speed electrical drive
  • experiments on a selected digital fluid power system
