(*)After completing this course, students are able to describe the challenges multinational firms face in financing, risk management and other areas. They can explain the tools available to manage associated problems and are able to support corporate decision-making by proposing potential solutions.

the merits of different multinational business financing options.

  • LO4: Students can propose solutions in corporate decision-making with respect to cross-border

financing, risk management, investment, and expansion strategies

Students should become familiar with the functioning of international financial (foreign exchange and capital) markets and instruments, and understand which strategies multinational corporations may apply to hedge risks through the use of financial derivatives.
