Students can perform forensic investigations on selected topics/scenarios and write a report on the results.

  • Creating and using hash libraries and assess their limitations (K5)
  • Breaking hashes (K3)
  • Analyzing website privacy polices (K5)
  • Employ tools for investigating Windows systems (K4)
  • Extract data about web-browsing and creating a timeline (K4)
  • Create a memory dump and extract cryptographic keys from it to unlock an encrypted partition (k3)
  • Analyze a network dump for activity and extract unencrypted data (K4)
