Oral exam at the end of the semester and the quality of the project.

Slide presentations, discussions, a small project (mostly literature research) including a presentation.

This lecture is a combined course. It has a lecture part where selected foundations, state of the art and current research outputs are taught and an exercise part where the students have to investigate and research a particular topic in the frame of application-oriented knowledge processing, and then present the results to the whole class.
