* Do independent literature research (K4, K5) * Critically evaluate existing approaches in the area of the seminar topic and possibly suggest alternative solutions (K4, K5, K6) * Write a seminar report according to scientific standards (K6) * Give a presentation and defend it (K6) * Discuss the presentations of other participants (K3, K5)

Knowledge about literature search, structuring, and presentation is obtained by discussion with teachers and active doing; knowledge about the field that is the subject of the seminar is acquired by independent literature research.
Criteria for evaluation Seminars are marked by assessing the seminar report, the presentation, and the participation in discussions.
Methods Independent literature research; preparation of a written seminar report; presentation of the chosen seminar topic in a talk to other students.
