  • Numerical solution of the relevant Partial Differential Equations
  • Reconstruction of a computational domain from medical imaging (Slicer3d)
  • Generation of a computational mesh from the reconstructed geometry
  • Identification and tagging of boundaries and subdomains
  • Implementation of the numerical solver in High Performance Computing environment
  • Postprocessing and visualization of the results
(*)Navier-Stokes equations for hemodynamics; Fluid-Structure Interaction models: Lagrangian, Eulerian and Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulation; Treatment of defective boundary conditions; Monodomain and Bidomain model for electrocardiology; Acquaintance with the necessary softwares (Slicer3d for geometry reconstruction, Salome for mesh generation, FEniCS-x for HPC simulation).
