(*)Upon completing the course, students will possess the following skills. They are able to
- present and communicate the methods, results and challenges of their own research project to a scientific audience (k5);
- engage in scientific discussions, asking questions and addressing feedback to improve their research approaches (k5/k6);
- critically evaluate and provide constructive feedback on the methods and findings presented by others (k5/k6);
- identify strengths and limitations in experimental design, data analysis and interpretation of results across different research projects (k4/k5);
- reflect on their own research in the context of broader scientific methodologies, improving their ability to plan experiments and solve problems (k6).

(*)During the course, students will acquire knowledge about current research topics in the area of surface science. The topics are determined by the methods and results of the own MSc or PhD thesis projects of the participants.
