They are able to present their own research in a structured manner, provide constructive feedback and effectively integrate feedback to refine their own research.
Skills Knowledge
Upon completing the course, students will possess the following skills. They are able to

  • present and communicate the methods, preliminary results and challenges of their own research project to a scientific audience (k5);

  • actively participate in scientific discussions, following their own presentation and those from other students (k4/k5).
During the course, students gain in depth knowledge about current research topics and methods in the field of surface analysis and nanoanalytics. The topics are determined by the methods and results of the own MSc or PhD thesis projects of the participants. Besides their own presenation, students will also be able to judge the potential of the methods and results presented by other students.
