Learning Outcomes
Competences
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to independently comprehend, review and summarize English-language scientific articles on different experimental surface and nanaoanalytical techniques. To achieve a confident presentation style, students have prepared and delivered their own presentations to the group. They are able to focus on essential content and can present it in a structured manner.
Skills Knowledge
Upon completing the course, students will possess the following skills. They are able to

  • clearly present the topic using modern presentation methods (k5/k6);
  • actively participate in scientific discussions, following their own presentation and those from other students (k4/k5).
During the course, students gain in depth knowledge about current research topics and methods in the field of surface analysis and nanoanalytics. Students select their own seminar topic in consultation with the supervisor. Besides their own topic, they will also be able to engage in discussions about the techniques presented by other students.
