Upon completing the course, students will possess the following skills. They are able to
- critically analyze recent scientific literature in the wider area of the interaction of light and matter (k4),
- summarize complex research findings and methodologies (k4),
- present scientific papers clearly and effectively to a peer audience (k4/k5),
- engage in and lead scientific discussions (k5/k6),
- provide constructive critiques and feedback on current research (k5/k6),
- develop awareness of contemporary advancements and open questions in the field of the interaction of light and matter (k6).

Students will gain knowledge of current research topics and methods in the field of the interaction of light and matter. The seminar topics are aligned with the broader scientific context of the MSc and PhD thesis projects of the participants. Students will choose their own presentation topics in consultation with the supervisor.
