| (*)Upon successful completion of the seminar, students are able to critically analyze and summarize recent research papers in the area of applied physics. They are able to present complex scientific ideas clearly, engage in discussions and provide constructive critiques of current literature.

(*)Upon completing the course, students will possess the following skills. They are able to
- critically analyze recent scientific literature in the wider area of applied physics (k4);
- summarize complex research findings and methodologies (k4);
- present scientific papers clearly and effectively to a peer audience (k4/k5);
- engage in and lead scientific discussions (k5/k6);
- provide constructive critiques and feedback on current research (k5/k6);
- develop awareness of contemporary advancements and open questions in the field of applied physics (k6).

(*)During the course, students will gain knowledge of current research topics and methods in the field of applied physics. The seminar topics are aligned with various actual topics in the area. The topic can be selected by the student as agreed with the supervisor.
